Just Some Thoughts

all tracks are just quick first takes. this is the first recording i did with the r16 and it was very rushed. quick mix done with audacity. here's what i recorded and what i used:

-two guitar tracks, both from the direct output on a fender machete, played on a mexican fender strat with dual humbucking pickups. one guitar track is set at a far lower volume as just a background track since i accidentally had gain level too high.

-one drum take using the internal mics on the r16 (i've since upgraded with a Shure DMK 5752 drum mic kit. used a perc plus kit with a zht ride and b8 hats and lightning rod sticks. added a lil bit of chorus effect on the r16.

-one bass track using the direct output on a fender rumble 75 with an ibanez soundgear bass. i think they i accidentally used an instrument cable instead of a speaker cable so it's a little rough.

-one vocal track using the internal mics on the r16. added a slight echo effect on some parts with audacity.
